Payment & Transactions
How paying at Shapes Wardrobe works, from the moment you tap Add to cart to the moment a refund lands back on your card.
1. Currency
All prices are shown and charged in Australian dollars (AUD). If you pay with a card issued outside Australia, your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may apply a foreign transaction fee.

3. When you are charged
Your payment is authorised and captured when you place the order. You receive an order confirmation email straight away and a second email with tracking once your parcel is dispatched.
4. Security
Checkout runs on Shopify's PCI-DSS Level 1 certified platform over an encrypted (SSL) connection. Card details go directly to the payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
5. Fraud checks
Orders are screened automatically. Occasionally we may ask you to confirm details before dispatch. If we cannot verify an order we cancel it and refund it in full.
6. Failed or declined payments
If a payment is declined, no order is created and nothing is charged. Common causes are a mistyped card number, an expired card or a bank security check. Try again or use another method; if it keeps failing, contact your bank or email us.
7. Discounts
Stack & Save is applied automatically at checkout. Discount codes, when we issue them, are entered in the discount field at checkout and cannot be applied after an order is placed.
8. Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of your return arriving with us, or immediately for orders cancelled before dispatch. Your bank may take a further 3–5 business days to show it. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
9. Chargebacks and disputes
If something has gone wrong with an order, please contact us first at info@shapeswardrobe.com. We resolve almost every issue within a day, which is much faster than a bank dispute.
10. Receipts
Your order confirmation email is your receipt. Need a tax invoice? Email us with your order number and we will send one.
